S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Fox News that President Donald Trump has halted Iran’s external flights under “Operation Economic Outcast.” Geopolitical tensions remain elevated, however, as Iranian Security Chief Mohsen Rezaee warned neighboring nations against enforcing U.S. sanctions and reaffirmed that the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until specific conditions are satisfied.
