XRP Beats Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana in ETF Flows: Can Price Follow?

XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) ETFs attracted $8.17 million on Thursday, standing out as the only category among four major spot crypto ETF groups to record net inflows during that session.

How XRP Broke From the Pack

Data from SoSoValue indicated that funds tracking Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), Ethereum recorded its eighth consecutive session of net outflows, while Solana’s losing streak reached four days.

Franklin’s XRPZ (NYSE:XRPZ) was responsible for the entire $8.17 million gain on Thursday. The other four XRP funds saw zero net flows, suggesting that investor interest was concentrated in a single issuer rather than distributed across the entire category.

Bitcoin’s selloff was largely driven by Fidelity’s FBTC (NYSE:FBTC), which shed $197.09 million, accounting for approximately 81% of the category’s total outflows.

BlackRock’s ETHA (NASDAQ:ETHA) led the withdrawals for Ethereum at $71.12 million, while Bitwise’s BSOL (NASDAQ:BSOL) saw $5.26 million in Solana outflows, which outweighed the inflows seen in two competing funds.

XRP ETFs are currently on pace for a 13th straight week of net inflows, having secured $11.31 million through Thursday.

Friday’s data is still pending, and outflows would need to equal that full amount to negate the gains made earlier in the week.

What the Charts Say About a Bounce

Trader Cryptoinsightuk noted on Thursday that XRP’s aggregated open interest declined by 4.6% in token terms and 8.6% in dollar terms. This drop was more significant than the price movement itself, which indicates that leveraged positions were being liquidated.

Rising spot trading volume suggests that buyers may be entering the market despite the broader selloff, even as funding rates turned negative, reflecting a sentiment where more traders are positioned for further downside.

Cryptoinsightuk highlighted a bullish RSI divergence on the four-hour chart, where XRP recorded a lower low while the RSI formed a higher low—a signal that selling pressure might be weakening.

The trader anticipates a potential entry point near the lower end of XRP’s range, though a brief liquidity sweep below support remains a possibility.

Where XRP Stands Technically

XRP is trading flat at $1.38 after falling below its rising trendline from the $1 low seen in August.

That trendline now acts as resistance, with XRP remaining below its 20-day EMA at $1.4555 and hovering near its 200-day EMA at $1.3788.

Key levels for XRP:

$1.40 to $1.46: resistance zone, 50-day and 20-day EMAs

$1.34: 100-day EMA, deeper support
