Here’s more on why crypto is surging ahead of the September jobs report:
Bitcoin (BTC) and the broader digital asset market gained ground on Friday in anticipation of the U.S. jobs report, providing a boost to major crypto-related stocks. The rally was fueled by a wave of short liquidations, declining Treasury yields, and a new $113,000 price target for Bitcoin issued by Citigroup.
Bitcoin’s value increased by 2.9% over the last 24 hours, reaching approximately $86,200. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment regarding the leading cryptocurrency remained in ‘bearish’ territory throughout the past day, accompanied by ‘low’ levels of discussion.

Can you buy your next house with crypto?
Perhaps you invested some spare cash into bitcoin a few years ago. Now, your crypto-based gains have provided a significant nest egg to put toward a home purchase.
But is it possible to buy a house using cryptocurrency instead of cash or a conventional mortgage? What obstacles exist? And what are the tax implications?
President Trump has expressed a desire for the United States to be “the crypto capital of the world.” In alignment with that vision, late in June, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) William J. Pulte directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to “prepare their businesses to count cryptocurrency as an asset for a mortgage.”
The FHFA provides oversight for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government-sponsored entities that finance a substantial portion of the mortgage market.
Pulte stated that the housing system “needs a massive upgrade,” adding, “I want people who own cryptocurrency to be able to buy homes like everyone else. I believe cryptocurrency is an asset. I believe Americans should be able to use their crypto if they want to. It’s time the housing system caught up.”
This indicates a potential fundamental shift in how digital assets may be utilized to qualify for home financing.
