U.S. stock futures pointed toward a higher opening on Tuesday, signaling that Wall Street may build on Monday’s gains as investors weigh artificial intelligence advancements, quarterly earnings reports, and the future trajectory of Federal Reserve’s policy decision on Wednesday, with expectations firmly set on interest rates remaining steady.

Artificial Intelligence Developments Support U.S. Equity Futures

AI-related news remained a primary focus for investors following a period of recent volatility within the technology sector.

Anthropic’s public filing for an initial public offering helped spark renewed interest in the industry, easing earlier concerns regarding the heavy financing requirements needed for large-scale AI infrastructure.

Those anxieties had pressured U.S. equities late last week, as investors scrutinized the potential impact of debt-funded spending on computing capacity and supporting infrastructure.

Attention also shifted to the deepened collaboration between Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META).

The two companies revealed plans to expand their work on the Muse family of artificial intelligence models.

As part of this agreement, Nvidia stated it would invest $3 billion in Meta, which is currently working toward raising as much as $95 billion through equity financing.

These announcements offered fresh data for investors evaluating the current state of spending and commercial growth across the AI landscape.

JetBlue and Corning Advance Following Quarterly Earnings

Several companies saw significant movement in premarket trading following their latest financial disclosures.

JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ:JBLU) shares rose 13.9% before the opening bell, even though the airline reported a third-quarter loss that exceeded analyst expectations.

The carrier also noted that it anticipates further expansion in its operating margins throughout the fourth quarter.

Corning (NYSE:GLW) shares moved higher in premarket activity after the glass manufacturer announced third-quarter revenue and earnings that surpassed Wall Street projections.

These results drove company-specific price action ahead of the official start of the trading session.
