His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has evaluated several strategic UAE Stock Exchange and ranks among the most significant renewable energy deals within the European Union, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a key strategic investor in European clean energy.

The briefing detailed the company’s existing portfolio of solar, wind, hydropower, and energy storage assets. It also outlined future development plans aimed at boosting clean energy capacity, which will bolster energy security and support the transition toward a low-emission economy.

His Highness also reviewed a presentation from the Hellenic Healthcare Group, in which the UAE’s PureHealth acquired a 60 per cent stake for €800 million in 2025. This move represents a strategic effort to broaden PureHealth’s footprint in the European medical sector.

The presentation highlighted the operations of the Hellenic Healthcare Group, which is the leading private healthcare provider in Cyprus and Greece, managing a network of diagnostic centres and hospitals that treat over 1.4 million patients annually. The discussion also covered initiatives to improve healthcare delivery, scale up specialized services, and utilize digital solutions and advanced technology to drive efficiency and quality.

His Highness emphasized the UAE’s dedication to broadening its international investment partnerships by building on successes in priority sectors. This approach aims to unlock new opportunities for innovation, expertise exchange, and investment, while simultaneously boosting the economic competitiveness of both the UAE and Greece.

These investments were facilitated under the joint UAE-Greece investment initiative, which was established in May 2022 with a total value of €4 billion. The initiative has been instrumental in fostering strategic partnerships in critical areas such as healthcare and renewable energy, reflecting the strength of bilateral relations and a shared commitment to long-term economic cooperation.
